Placer High wrestler Mitchell Maddox placed second in his weight class on Saturday at the Ronald McNair Tournament in Stockton.

Jordan Trout, Andrew Naleway, Joe Thornton, Steven Cox and Mike Robinson each went 4-1 as the Hillmen finished fifth out of 24 teams.

The Hillmen will compete at the Coyote Classic this Friday and Saturday at Madera South High School.
