Placer High’s Steven Cox went 4-1 and pinned two opponents over the weekend, wrestling his way to third place in the 160-pound weight class at Madera South High School’s Chukchansi Invitational.

Dalton Richardson and Mitchell Maddox each went 3-2 and finished fourth in their respective weight classes. Maddox recorded two pins at 135 pounds, while Richardson had one pin at 125.

Zach Uvalle posted a 3-3 mark and finished sixth at 112 pounds for the Hillmen. Andrew Naleway came in eighth at 119 pounds, going 2-3 with both of his wins coming by pin.
