We were astounded and speechless (pretty good for seven ladies out for a birthday lunch) when our server at Awful Annie’s said, “Ladies, the couple who just left paid for your lunches.”

We had seen this handsome couple sharing their lunch and enjoying each other’s company, not thinking they even saw us.

There was no way to thank them for their grand gift and surprise, except here.
