Foothills Bowl rolling with the changes
Reader Input
There have been many questions and concerns regarding the future of the Foothills Bowling center and understandably so. As many of you are aware, there has been a change of ownership with the building and real estate of the bowling center only (Journal, Feb. 24). What has not changed is the ownership of the business. The same management and staff as before are still running the Foothills Bowl business. From that standpoint, nothing has changed. Currently, negotiations are under way to draft a lease agreement with the new landlords. I assure you that the owners of the business are going to do everything possible to keep the bowl intact for many years to come. The new property owners seem willing to keep things as they are for the foreseeable future. What this means is that nobody should panic or speculate about your place to bowl. You will not be locked out with your equipment in your locker, according to some comments I have heard recently. We as a staff are committed to providing a place for fun, family entertainment now and into the future, just as we have for the last 30-plus years. We hope you will continue to enjoy your time with friends here at the Foothills Bowl and we thank you for your dedicated support. JAMES SKORIJA, manager, Foothills Bowl, and staff, Auburn
