Pete Dufour, left and student photographer Kaitlyn Miller both of Sierra Nevada Conservancy hold a live interview with State Assemblyman Ted Gaines at the American River Confluence Monday evening. The purpose of the video is for the conservancy's website, sierranevada.ca.gov to help raise awareness for the second annual Great Sierra River Cleanup September 25th. Ted Gaines and his family volunteered at last year's river cleanup and was presented a certificate of recognition for his efforts by the Sierra Nevada Conservancy Executive Officer, Jim Branham.

"The Great Sierra River Cleanup is a great opportunity to participate in preserving our beautiful rivers and streams," said Ted. "I am issuing a challenge to other state legislators to join the fun and lend a hand this year."
