The Placer High golf team turned the tables on four-time defending Pioneer Valley League champion Colfax Thursday. The balanced Hillmen shot 217 at Winchester Country Club to beat the Falcons by 43 strokes and remain perfect on the season.
Junior Ryan Holden led the way with a 5-over-par 41 for Placer (4-0). Rob Schauble was close behind with a 42 and Austin Childress fired a 43. Kyle Sproul chipped in with a 45 and Nathan Bonner added a 46 for the Hillmen.
Patrick Cabrera was the only Colfax golfer under 50 as he finished with a 45.

Forest Lake 245, Victory Christian 263 at Haggin Oaks — Medallist Spencer DeYoung shot a 42 to lead the Falcons to victory in their first league match Thursday.
Justin Raskin carded a 46 for Forest Lake, followed by Jeremy Lance (49), Garrett Boatman (52) and Chris McCowan (56).
The Falcons (3-1 overall) play Foresthill at Black Oak Golf Course on Tuesday.
