Auburn Journal reporter, Jenifer Gee and photographer Ben Furtado, had the opporunity to get up close and personal with an 8-week-old black bear cub that had been abandoned by her mother. The staff met the bear cub Monday afternoon in Auburn. The 5-pound bear is being taken care of by Gabe Kerschner and Tamarah Roach from Wild Things, Inc.
