Enjoyed the ultimate experience at AM 950 KAHI co-hosting with host Loyce Smallwood on the MUSIC Connection with harpizing harmonica player Robbert Trice. Robbert Trice entertained us with his chromatic and melodic harmonica. What a mirthful time too! We will be having him back on the program next month with a member from his band In Ya Ear who plays the electronic chello.
He will be out at Courthouse Coffee next week for Harmonica Lessons on Thursday.
ON The GOLF CONNECTION Loyce's guest was Author/Class A PGA Pro John Renslow of Alta Sierra Country Club in Grass Valley, CA. Planning on doing a follow up interview with John out at Alta Sierra Country Club in the coming weeks. Be on the lookout for that...
His book In The Loop, A Crash Course in the Golf Culture was published in 2004. Started reading most of it while at Courthouse Coffee for the Round Table. It is a wonderful book for those who are beginning golfers. He joined us over at Courthouse Coffee and was full of information. Told us about his experiences of playing golf. He started at 16.
He explained index, establishing a handicap, tending the flag, sandbagger-person who fabricates a handicap, pace of play and equitable stroke control.
In the next 6 months Loyce and John both suggested to join the NCGA, which I am planning on doing. John explained the rating, slope, speed of greens. The Ridge is one of those ones that has a high rating, which means it is a challenging course to play on.
Barry Stigers from AM 950 KAHI joined Loyce, John Renslow, Owner Linda Lareau, Liz Pope of Placer Independent Resource Services all enjoyed laughter, mirth and pleasant conversations.
See who stops in next week and appears on AM 950 KAHI MUSIC/GOLF CONNECTION and the Round Table every Thursday 10am Courthouse Coffee, Auburn, CA 1425 Lincoln Way.
Thank you very much Loyce for the wonderful time and opportunity to co-host on the program.

Glad you were able to co-host today and connect with our music and golf guests. Isn't it great to make these wonderful local connections and be entertained and amused in your very own backyard. Tune in next week for the Old Time Music of The Begin Family for a special treat.
It is wonderful to have these connections with music/entertainment right near us! The Begin Family sounds great! Looking forward to it.
