SOLID GROUND is an exciting trio based out of Sacramento. They will be performing a FREE CONCERT at Bell Road Baptist Church, this Saturday Night at 7:00 PM.

The group consist of Tim Wilhelm (baritone), Brian Besser (lead), and Jeff Johnson (tenor). Since their premiere performance in February, 2007, God has opened many doors for the group to minister in song and testimony. In May 2007, SOLID GROUND entered the Western States Gospel Music Association's (WSGMA) talent showcase and was voted "Favorite Group".

In May 2008, SOLID GROUND had the opportunity to be part of the "Best of the West" showcase at the Great Western Fan Festival (GWFF), a three day music convention featuring groups from all over the country.

Group manager, Jeff Johnson, states, "It is our desire, that when each concert or church service is over, every person in attendance will have received something from God. We are in a time when all Christians should pull together, regardless of denomination, to uplift each other and share the love of Jesus with this lost and dying world."

SOLID GROUND'S mission is to "uplift the body of Jesus Christ, and to point the lost in the direction of the saving grace and mercy of Jesus".

There is no admission charge for Saturday's Concert. A freewill offering will be collected to assist SOLID GROUND as they continue to fulfill their mission.

Bell Road Baptist Church is at EXIT 123 and Interstate 80 in Auburn (at the three white crosses on the hill).
