Emma Mae Jacob stopped to rest at her home in Colfax for a few days, have some hang time with her girlfriends, and regroup before heading out on a month long whirlwind tour of radio interviews, concerts and special appearances.

Jacob is traveling in a luxury tour bus with an entourage of family and friends.

They will be making a variety of stops, beginning with an appearance on country music station 99.5 The Wolf on Monday, May 19. Jacob performed three songs including a single scheduled for release in June titled “With You” along with singer-songwriter Karen Staley, who wrote the single and accompanied Jacob on guitar.

There will be other radio interviews along route to Las Vegas where the young country artist will be participating in various events leading up to the Academy of Country Music Awards show.

Jacob will ride on the back seat of a Harley Davidson in the annual motorcycle benefit ride and perform during a private concert at Mandalay Bay on Sunday prior to the awards’ show.

Making a quick change into her black Dolce & Gabana dress with Jimmy Choo shoes, Jacob will walk the “orange carpet” and be seated in the star pit at the front of the venue.

“I am looking forward to all of it. It’s so cool to be part of the ACMs and I’m really excited about the anime convention,” says Jacob.

An animated tale of Jacob, called “Hope Notes,” will premiere at the Anime Convention in Dallas, Texas, at the end of the month.
