William Jessup University, the only private, four-year residential university in the Sacramento area, on July 16 announced its first major expansion since it relocated to Rocklin from San Jose in 2004.

The 69-year-old university will double the amount of on-campus housing, create a banquet facility to accommodate nearly 800 people and add athletic and music facilities.
