The August meeting presentation of the Placer Sierra Railroad Heritage Society will feature the photos of the recent Colfax wildfire taken by Auburn Journal photographer, Mike Kirby. Mike captured the dramatic scene up on the UP mainline tracks as the CDF fire crews were containing the wildfire that burned up to Cape Horn Ridge.
The meeting is at the Senior Center at 1st and D Street in the DeWitt Center in Auburn. Visitors welcome.
