Placer County District Attorney Brad Fenocchio is expected to end his 14-year tenure as lead prosecutor in 2010. On Thursday, Fenocchio and Placer County Sheriff Ed Bonner will co-host a breakfast in Roseville to introduce their support for Senior Deputy District Attorney Ronald “Scott” Owens as a candidate for District Attorney in 2010.

“We’re very excited,” Owens said Wednesday.

Officials from other Placer County law enforcement organizations are expected to announce their support for Owens at the breakfast Thursday.
