Subject: “Signs of controversy” (Journal, Oct. 31).

This is so unacceptable, my heart is just sick. The fact that my polling place would put signs of any kind right out front is not right. Especially ones on such a totally divisive issue as Proposition 8.

The pastor admits that the church bulletin talks about how to vote on the issue. Makes one wonder how safe your vote may be.

To all my neighbors let’s demand a less controversial place to have the polls next time so everyone can feel secure and welcome while casting their vote!
