What: A food swap is a privately held, community event where you trade your homemade, homegrown, and foraged creations with other participants. Diversify your pantry while meeting your friends and neighbors.
Who: We welcome everyone, as long as you bring something you made, grew, or foraged yourself. You must pre-register to attend.
When: Held the 2nd Sunday of every month.
Where: Studio Be, 1519 Grass Valley Hwy, Auburn, CA 95603
Cost: Attendance is FREE although we would appreciate a small $5 donation to cover rental costs if it's available to you. However, due to space limitations, you MUST pre-register
What to bring:
· Food to swap: All swap items must be homemade, homegrown, or foraged by you. Think pickles, preserves, baked goods, honey, granola, pasta, fruits, crafts, vegetables, herbs, spices… you name it! Bring as little or as much as you like. You can bring a bunch of one thing or multiples of a few different things. The possibilities are endless!
· Swap card: Bring one swap card for each different item you're swapping. Swap cards are downloadable from the website or from the Evenbrite registration form.
· Release form: Please note that you will need to sign a release form in order to attend. Print, sign, and bring it with you to the swap. Release forms are downloadable from the website or from the Evenbrite registration form. You MUST submit a signed release form at the door for every event.
