Auburn Big Time-Pow Wow

Percy Edwards of Sacramento was one of the many dancers that participated in the Auburn Big Time Pow-Wow Saturday. The annual event is hosted by the Sierra Native Alliance celebrating Native American Art and Culture. Edwards is a member of the Colville Conferderated Tribes of Washington State.

Hundreds of spectators attended the annual Native American Big Time Pow-Wow at the Gold Country Fairgrounds to celebrate Native American Art and Culture including dance, song, drumming and crafts. A full agenda of activities were staged Saturday from the opening ceremony at 9am through the closing ceremony at 10pm. The event was hosted by the Sierra Native Alliance.
