Emily Cooney of Rocklin practices her planting skills at the kids planting workshop, sponsored by Home Depot in Auburn. As part of the workshop, she learned that marigolds ward off bugs in the garden. Placer County Water Agency employee Sandy Stratton of Colfax, right,is spreading the word on water conservation in the home as Sarah Sexton and Andy Little of Roseville listen to her tips and receivefree supplies to start the process in their home. Tim Martin of Eagle Plumbing in Auburn business gives out kitchen sink plungers free to visitors at the Auburn Fall Home Show Saturday. There are plenty of displays to promote businesses at the Auburn Fall Home Show, including these sink plungers from Eagle Plumbing. Seth Washman of Meadow Vista and Tori Wilson, with Echo Valley Ranch, introduce visitors to their family of animals at the Auburn Fall Home Show Saturday. The menagerie includes two Nygerian dwarf goats and some Holland dwarf rabbits. Phoebe Freeman and Angelina Collier of Rainbow Girls of Auburn, sell daffodil bulbs at the Home Show to raise money to help support a hospice home for famalies of terminally children. Cinda Adrian of Applegate visited the Auburn Fall Home Show to look for a landscape designer to beautify her backyard. She found what she wanted with Joanne Neagele of Foothill Design and Landscape of Meadow Vista. Max?s owner Peggy Green, of Bow Wow Licious in Auburn says the real treat for this golden retriever is a couple of tennis balls.
