Driving it is Hunter Williams of Auburn. Janette Tam steers the car "Pump It Up" during the Funk Box Derby in Downtown Auburn Saturday. Tam's car was sponsored by Strictly Toy-Ondas. The People's Choice Award went to the PCCA's car driven by John Remington of Auburn. The Funk Box Derby was fun for all ages and David Pray of Foresthill has a ball driving the Auburn Assistance League car called the "Foothillbillies." Singing the National Anthem at the Funk Box Derby is Shie Yates from Auburn. Yates has been singing since she was 3 years old, she said.
