‘A Really Big Shew’ variety show

Miss the old days of variety shows?

An evening of music, entertainment, laughs and surprises with host, “Ed Sullivan,” will be at the State Theatre. “A Really Big Shew,” will feature tribute performances of: Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Janis Joplin and LaBelle. Plus, there will be a magic show, NCDC Tap Dancers, comedy acts and more.

There will also be raffles, complimentary dessert buffet and Fawnridge wines, local beers and other beverages available for purchase.

The event will donate proceeds to the Rear Admiral Bonnie Potter Statue Fund created by Douglas Van Howd and it is organized by the Auburn Airport Committee.

“A Really Big Shew” will be 7:30-10 p.m. Aug. 24 at the 985 Lincoln Way, Auburn. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. For more information, call 530-885-0156 or visit livefromauburn.com.
