A two-car collision jammed up traffic in an “very inconvenient spot,” said Angela McCollough, patrol officer for Auburn Police Department.

A call came in at 10:30 a.m. Friday to report an accident at Highway 49 and where Lincoln Way and Borland meet. There were no injuries but the incident caused a bit of chaos at the busy intersection for about an hour. Three Auburn Police officers were directing traffic and Auburn Fire Department  “was very helpful helping us,” McCollough said. An ambulance was on the scene as well.

A late-model black Toyota Corolla and a beige Toyota Tacoma were the two vehicles involved in the accident, which is still under investigation.
