"Experience the Rush" is a 30-minute radio show all about Auburn. The show is hosted by on KAHI by Renee Berg and is jam-packed with informative and interesting content.

The show is broken down into three segments. The first segment is called "Sky Dog Presents" and highlights local music. Renee interviews musicians who have upcoming gigs in the Auburn area. More often than not, the band will play live in the studio.

The second segment rotates between topics that make Auburn such a great place to live and visit.

On the first and third Saturdays, Wes Woodland is in the studio for his segment titled "Sierra Gold," a new media series that explores all things amazing about California's Sierra Nevada region from hidden treasures and gold rush history to eclectic old timers and everything in between.

Auburn City Councilman Daniel Berlant hosts this segment on the second Saturday that features adventurous and exciting hikes and little known trails throughout the region.

The fourth Saturday is devoted to highlighting a local nonprofit that is doing great things in the community.

The third and final segment of each show focuses on local events, the main reason for Berg launching her website four years ago.

If there happens to be a fifth Saturday in a month, Berg takes the liberty to digress from the normal schedule. For instance, in June, she dedicated the entire show to her interview of a founding member and drummer for REO Speedwagon. Alan Gratzer was a gracious guest and even signed her sister's (now hers, of course) “Hi Infidelity” album and her ticket stub from Aug. 2, 1981 when REO headlined Day on the Green at the Oakland Coliseum.

The show airs locally 10:30 a.m. Saturdays on AM 950 and FM 104.5 and live streams at Archived shows can be listened to at under the Podcast menu.
