Allow farmers to sell direct without overregulation

-A +A
With the current impact of the global economic crisis on ordinary citizens, it is essential that local ranches and small family farms are able to sell directly to customers through farmers’ markets and other sources without excessive and onerous government regulations. While regulations may be useful to reduce the excesses of corporate farming, the proposed regulations (HR 875, HR 814, SR 425, HR 759) are written by and for those same corporations to restrict access to customers by local farmers and ranchers. Keep local farmers and ranchers free to sell locally without unnecessary regulations. Dr. Daniel Coffman Auburn
