There are still a few spots available in Auburn Ski Club’s Gift of Skiing program. Gift of Skiing is the club’s introductory program for ages 6 to 13. Cisco Kids is the beginning skill level, but students must have at least been on skis before. This is not a beginner’s class. Students range in age from 6 years old to 12 years old. The next skill level up is the Boreal Bombers. Students range in age from 7 years old to 13 years old. However, if students as young as 6 have past experience with skiing, they may be eligible for the Boreal Bombers. Parents and their children must be members of the Auburn Ski Club to enroll in Gift of Skiing. Dues are $40 for the first member and $20 for each additional member. Cisco Kid enrollment fees are $255 and Boreal Bombers fees are $455. The Boreal Bombers begin training on Saturday and the Cisco Kids begin on Dec. 20. Contact Bev Mann or Eric Garayoa for more information.
