Auburn woman charged with felony for causing injury while DUI

A 24-year-old Auburn woman is in custody at the Placer County Jail after being arrested on a felony charge of causing an injury while driving under the influence of narcotics, according to a press release from the Auburn Police Department. Officer Mike Metzner responded at about noon Thursday to a collision near the intersection of Auburn Folsom Road and Herdal Drive/Sacramento Street in Auburn, where his investigation led to the arrest of Lindsay Frasher, according to police. A driver who sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries was transported to the hospital, police said. Frasher’s bail is set at $50,000.
