Call to readers: How was your experience on I-80 rock chip claims?
The $3.9 million resurfacing project on Interstate 80 through Auburn included reports of a spate of damaged windshields from kicked up rocks. Caltrans and the contractor – Chico’s Knife River Construction – said in a story last September on the problem that claims for damage compensation could be filed through the contractor. The Journal is asking readers who filed claims to report on how satisfied they were with the process. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or (530) 852-0232 and leave a contact number. – Gus Thomson
