Chicken offered to fire victims

My husband and I felt so helpless watching the devastating fire on TV. When the reporter stated food was needed by the shelter at Rock Creek School we felt we could help in some small way, so we drove to KFC on Atwood and 49 and ordered a few buckets of chicken. When they learned it was for the shelter, they not only gave us a discount but added another box of chicken as well as two large boxes of fries. We wish to thank Alex, and the manager, for their generosity. Upon arriving at the school, we were amazed at the number of cars lined up donating food and drink. We are so proud to be a part of the Auburn community. It is truly a special place. Our prayers go out to those who lost their homes and to the firefighters as well. Judy and Mike Schredl, Auburn
