Clean up after pets, even goats

I really enjoyed the article about the dwarf goats (Journal, Dec. 6). I love seeing the various livestock animals in and around town — the alpacas, emus and hopefully the dwarf goats. Although Ms. (Sally) Dawley has a point, I am sure that the owners of these animals would not leave droppings when visiting assisted living facilities or their own homes. So why are they not picking up after their animals in Central Square? There is a city law that requires that owners of all animals are to be picked up! Is no one saying anything?
