Officials still need your help identifying a woman who was struck and killed by a big rig Wednesday. The unidentified woman was walking in the number three lane on Interstate 80, just east of Douglas Boulevard in Roseville at around 4:45 a.m when she was struck by an 18-wheeler, according to CHP Officer Nico Bonfilio. CHP spokesman David Martinez said that after the woman was hit by the big rig she was then hit by a couple of other cars. Martinez said the accident was unavoidable and nobody was arrested. The woman was believed to be by herself and was not carrying any identification. The victim is described as 25 to 35 years old, either white or Hispanic and she wore black pants and a black shirt. She was about 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches and weighed around 200 pounds. If you have any information as to the identity of the woman, call Placer County Chief Deputy Coroner Dennis Watt at (530) 889-7878. Josh Fernandez can be reached at
