Council candidates to take part in ‘Eggs and Issues’ forum

The Auburn Chamber of Commerce is hosting a breakfast forum Thursday featuring the three City Council candidates running for two spots in the Nov. 6 election. “Eggs and Issues,” featuring a full breakfast, will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Holiday Inn and it is open to the public. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the chamber at (530) 885-5616 extension 223. The $15 admission can be paid at the event, and 60 seats were available as of Tuesday afternoon. Incumbents Dr. Bill Kirby and Keith Nesbitt, as well as Auburn business owner Gary Moffat, will answer questions submitted by the audience to a panel.
