Two alleged burglars will face a judge again soon. Joseph William Einspahr, 31, and Jayme Lynn Salcedo, 33, are scheduled for early status conferences at 8:30 a.m. March 14 in Auburn’s Placer County Jail courtroom. The Placer County Sheriff’s Office arrested Einspahr and Salcedo in November in connection to an alleged Auburn-area burglary ring that hit several homes and vehicles. Upon the group’s arrest, hundreds of thousands of dollars of electronics and jewelry were recovered, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Amanda Marie Jojo, 21, has already been sentenced to 270 days in jail in connection to the case. Stephanie Jean Cooke-Perez, 27, was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison for admitting to a probation violation and pleading no contest to possession of methamphetamine. Cooke-Perez was not charged in the theft case, but was arrested with Einspahr. Karissa Dawn Yeager, 27, was also arrested in connection to the thefts. She is scheduled for an early status conference at 8:30 a.m. April 19 in the jail courtroom. Einspahr remains in Placer County Jail and is ineligible for bail. ~Bridget Jones
