The second show of the Auburn Cruise Nite season hit Lincoln Way in Downtown Auburn on June 10. The Cruise Nite Committee handed out its three awards for the evening for “Best Stock,” “Best Modified/Stock” and “Best Modified.” The “Best Stock” honors went to Rose and Terry Mornin of Auburn for their 1930 Ford Model A Cabriolet. Bob Comstock of El Dorado Hills won the “Best Modified/Stock” award for his 1937 Chevrolet coupe. Jim and Barbara Major of Newcastle took home the “Best Modified” honor for their 1941 Ford cab-over truck. “It was a good turnout, we appreciate the people coming out,” said Jack Kenny, co-chairman of the Auburn Cruise Nite Committee. ~ Andrew DiLuccia
