Why won’t our county supervisors let us know what is going on? The Wal-Mart issue was supposedly settled in the mid- ’90s when the location was determined to be unsuitable as per the EIR. Now we read that the big box giant is going ahead at the location, planning and moving ground. I hardly think the situation has improved. It has, in fact, id Wal-Mart charm supes? Now we read that the big box giant is going ahead at the location, planning and moving ground. I hardly think the situation has improved. It has, in fact, grown much worse. What is the deal? The people should be getting some input from the (Placer County Board of) supervisors. Where is the so-called transparency? The supervisors aren’t keeping the people up-to-date on issues. This is something to recall come election time. I’m sure that they would tell me to attend the long and tedious meetings. The last meeting I went to was when the now-deceased and highly respected Hal Rubin was so rudely insulted by the un-elected Kirk (Uhler). Enough said! Paul T. McDaniel, Auburn
