Auburn Branch AAUW wants to thank Sara Seyydin, staff writer, and the Auburn Journal for the splendid coverage of the International Dinner on Feb. 24. We had 87 people attend — a record number for us. About 22 attendees were from the community and most brought food for the potluck. Ed Weiss, D.D.S., gave a wonderful presentation of his work in dental health in Nepal based on the model of The Flying Doctors. It is most challenging in remote villages and his slide show illustrated this. Beautiful pictures of the area gave the audience a feel for the country he worked in and a later question and answer period was illuminating. Barbara Gerletti-Weiss spoke of her education with dental health, diet and healthy foods. Again, great coverage for our group. Pat Kessler and Carol Francis, event co-chairs, Auburn
