Skyridge Elementary School third-graders Jasmine Tittle, 9 (left), and Danielle Extein, 9, spent 30 minutes jumping rope, having fun and raising funds for the American Heart Association Monday. Kindergarten through third-graders at Skyridge participated in the fundraiser that will benefit the battle against heart disease and strokes. ?We practice jumping rope during physical education preparing for Jump Day,? said kindergarten teacher Barbara Hackett. ?Every year we raise between $2,000 and $2,500,? she said.
