Local supermarket going extra mile for community

-A +A
Thank you Auburn SaveMart! You are truly the “people in our neighborhood! Stepping up to the plate in tough economic times, Auburnite Pamela Dobson, SaveMart manager, has provided two fundraising opportunities to help fund and support local music programs dedicated to children diagnosed with autism and other special needs disabilities. These local programs have been deeply affected by funding cutbacks. Manager Pamela, along with SaveMart employee Donna Mauldin, decided to make a difference in the community and recently sponsored two hot dog sales with all proceeds going to programs for children with autism and other language disabilities. Needless to say, all SaveMart employees had hot dogs for lunch and encouraged shopping customers to do likewise. Thank you, Pamela, Donna, and all Save Mart employees for caring about the “people in your neighborhood.” Bobbie Brown MusicTalk Colfax
