Look at people, not Internet

I would like to give my thoughts on the overuse of the Internet. Many people use the Internet for most of their day. A lot of children are spending a lot of time with games and media. I think that the Internet is pulling people away from getting exercise, reading books and interacting with other people on a face-to-face basis. The Internet can be useful but if overused it can become an obsession. People are already relying on the Internet for information, entertainment and social networks. Since the Internet is so big, many kids underage are creating things like a MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, etc. The Internet is also exposing things to children that are inappropriate for them to see. We should all think about using the Internet less and get back to the real life. ROBERTO ALCANTAR, student, Auburn
