City Council meeting serves up possibilities for both

Those looking for a job or running a business in Auburn may find Monday?s City Council meeting sparks their interest. At the meeting the council is scheduled to approve the recruitment for an Airport Operation Technician. They?re also scheduled to set a public hearing on June 11 to levy annual assessment fees for the Old Town Business Improvement District and the Downtown Business Improvement District. Leadership Auburn will present the sign concepts they have come up with to make it easier for people to navigate through Old Town and Downtown Auburn. He said the signs would be visible, but also tailored to capture the essence of Auburn. ?I am just impressed with the work they have done so far,? said Kevin Hanley, councilmember.
