Measure L will strengthen education

I recently received information in the mail about the state of school funding in California and I was appalled. In order to try to fix their own mess, the politicians in Sacramento have been raiding local school budgets. Auburn Union School District has been hit with $2.7 million in cuts over the past two years and more is on the way. I will vote yes on Measure L because we cannot let state politicians ruin our local schools. For about 16 cents a day, we can create revenue for our Auburn schools that the state can’t touch. One-hundred percent of all money raised by Measure L will stay in Auburn and will stay in the classroom. No administrative salaries can be paid for with this money. Please join me and vote yes on Measure L and keep the Sacramento politicians from ruining our schools. Lashaun Byer, Auburn
