Welcome to the Auburn Journal’s “Noon Hour Update,” where we’ll present you with stories and updates on what’s going on in the news and what we’re working on for our Wednesday edition.

Rollover on Highway 49: A tan van rolled over on Highway 49 just north of Luther Road Tuesday morning. Reporter Gus Thomson has a report on the wreck here.

What we’re working on: Declining enrollment in local schools and colleges the last couple of years has taken a toll on these institutions’ bottom lines. Reporter Amber Marra will look into the numbers of some Auburn schools and Sierra College.

Reporter Gus Thomson will be expanding on the vehicle crash on Highway 49 Tuesday morning that sent one person to the hospital.

The issue of regulating food trucks in the City of Auburn will be on the planning commission agenda Tuesday night. Gus will be on hand at the meeting and will report on the commission’s actions.
