Nevada County detectives are looking for four men who allegedly robbed three people at gunpoint inside their home during early morning hours Friday. At about 2:35 a.m., the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a male saying four men with covered faces had robbed him and two females at gunpoint in their Grass Valley residence, according to Sheriff Keith Royal. The victims told deputies that the men entered their dwelling on the 16000 block of Greenhorn Road, woke them up, beat the male inside the home and tied the three of them up while demanding money and drugs, Royal said. The four masked men reportedly left soon after with small amounts of cash, marijuana, a firearm and some home electronics. The victims then loosened their ties and called police shortly after. The male suffered minor injuries. The two women were not hurt, Royal said. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information related to the alleged attack is asked to call Detective Hap Penaluna at (530) 265-1263. ~ Staff report
