Placer volleyball falls to Nevada Union

The Placer High boys volleyball team dropped its third straight match to open the spring Tuesday, falling to visiting Nevada Union 25-21, 25-13, 25-21 Tuesday. Brenden Lewis had nine kills and three aces for the Hillmen. Sam Burnett finished with 14 assists, while Justin Smith had six blocks and Eric Rivins added seven digs. Placer (0-3) will look to reverse its fortune this evening at Rocklin.
