Narrow-minded nattering nabobs of negativism insist that others should not be allowed to do something because they themselves do not think it should be done.
Randall Cleveland (“Farm/ag operators want it both ways,” Reader Input, Feb. 15), who I am guessing never ran a business in Placer County, believes trying to do more than one thing with a property that is zoned and permitted for business is horrific.
Does he know that portions of the business he is attacking have to close from 4 to 6 p.m. because the wonderful government claims that they cause the traffic that is really people coming home from work?
Does he know how much they had to pay for permits to make the changes he hates?
Does he know how many people love having that business where it is?
Can he explain what horrible things will happen if they get what they want?
I doubt it.
