Seems the Catholic Church has reversed its position on birth control and decided that a fetus is not a person.
The Colorado Independent paper reports the Catholic Church’s St.Thomas More Hospital is being sued for the death of twin fetuses. Their defense in the malpractice suit is arguing that “state law protects doctors from liability concerning unborn fetuses on grounds that those fetuses are not persons with legal rights.”
Seems the Catholic Church, and any church for that matter, is all about the bottom line.
Churches are businesses, always have been and always will be.
It’s time to remove the religious profit centers from nonprofit taxation protection.
Perhaps if there is sufficient profit, the church will decide that the GLBT populations are people, too.
