Run rail tracks down Interstate

I have mixed feelings on the high-speed rail system. I wonder why the tracks can’t be run down the middle of Interstate 5. Wouldn’t this either slow down or eliminate the eminent domain issues? I would like to think that, that issue would go away. I agree, mostly, with Tim Smith of Cool (Reader Input, Jan. 2). We really do need to do this, but why not above our already-made Interstate 5? Does anyone else think this would work? Betty Cruz, Auburn
