Stand up for your rights

First of all, I read Jack Hertel’s and Marcia Winborne-Graven’s “F.D.A. corrupt” (Reader Input, Dec. 29 and Jan. 1, respectively) and your letters were great and I certainly agree with you both. We are the United States of America and we have the right to say what we want. I know the so-called president wants us to be the United Nations and his wife wants people who are obese to eat properly. What the hell is going on in our country? It’s time to get rid of Congress and Senate. They are not doing anything for us. Try putting people in there who care for the people of our country. Our veterans need our help. We need to help the homeless, start helping one another here in our own country. Come on, people, stand up for our rights. We don’t want our government to tell us what to do. We will then end up being like Germany was under Hitler. Yes, I did call our president “a jackass” and I am not sorry. Oh, by the way, I received three phone calls after I wrote my letter and I told them as I said before: “We are the United States and God bless.” Dee Nann, Christian Valley
