Thanks to all who made concert outstanding

-A +A
It is time once again to recognize another wonderful concert. Huge thanks to Maestro Michael Goodwin for sharing Verdi, Rodrigo and especially Rimsky-Korakov’s “Scheherazade.” All the concerts are great. However, this concert was outstanding. The audience obviously thought so, too. The maestro had four curtain calls, and the guitar soloist, Brandon Yip, was brought back to the stage for an encore. Our orchestra played “Scheherazade” so beautifully, and Sarah Wood, our concert master, performed her solos superbly. Many thanks to our Executive Director Jennifer Keck for once again pulling everything together to make it all work. Without you, we wouldn’t be! Thanks also to the office staff, Barbara Burdick and Sarah Stryker, for all the things they do, to Shirley Hare and Sandy Pounds for helping out at the “box office,” stage manager Bryce McNally and staff, the Auburn Symphony League for providing refreshments for the orchestra, and the people of Auburn for attending our concerts. There are so many things that happen before and after a concert. Believe me, I know because I volunteer my time behind the scenes. Pat Steidel Auburn Symphony board of directors, Auburn
