Vote against Tom McClintock

As regards the editorial in today’s Journal (Our View, Sept. 29), I would hope that the citizens of Colfax seriously consider voting against Tom McClintock in the November election. Their city chose to employ the services of John Doolittle as their personal lobbyist. Why spend $30,000 if their elected representative was doing an adequate job? I would think this money could have been used in some other way and not in “duplicating” services. What struck me in the editorial was that even Mr. McClintock couldn’t come up with a good reason for this. Rosalie Wohlfromm, Auburn
