In a tense game Wednesday night the Placer Hillmen defeated the Bear River Bruins 58-55 at Bear River. Bear River tied the game 49-49 at the end of regulation forcing the overtime. Isaiah Pineiro led the Hillmen with 31 points, and Justin Beskeen scored 23 for the Bruins.
