Dr. Rich Jackson is greeted by his pug, Indie, who has diabetes and is mostly blind. Indie now lives with the Jacksons after being signed over from the humane society from Penryn based animal sanctuary, A Chance For Bliss.

Diane Jackson holds Pomeranian, Baby Bear, who also is mostly blind and has diabetes. Both Baby Bear and Indie are under the care of the Jackson's, but will need to find long- term homes suitable for their health needs.
